OME is an 8 mm choreographic portrait of a Mexican dancer in Brooklyn, New York. It was created by dancer and choreographer Camila Arroyo, alongside a team of mostly Latinx creators. The film opens up with a collage of images taken between New York and Mexico City, two places the author considers 'home.' The choreography attempts to show a state of moving 'in-between' two spaces that have shaped the immigrant dancer.
